U-S Senate candidate Al Franken held a "meet-and-greet" Tuesday evening in downtown Duluth.

His appearance coincides with a poll that indicates he is leading incumbent Republican Senator Norm Coleman.

Franken took Coleman to task on a number of issues on which Coleman has agreed with President Bush.

"We haven't addressed global warming...getting the permission of the scientists."

That same poll indicates Coleman is leading the other favorite D-F-L hopeful for the nomination, Twin Cities attorney Mike Ciresi.
