Mount Rainier Shooting Suspect Likely Died of Exposure

According to the Seattle Times, the suspect in the New Year's Day shooting death of a park ranger at Mount Rainier National Park likely died due to exposure.

The body of 24-year-old Benjamin Colton Barnes was found Monday afternoon lying half submerged in a creek inside the park, according to the Seattle Times story. Barnes, who was wearing jeans a t-shirt and one shoe, had no sign of injuries, according to the Times.

Barnes was suspected in the shooting death of 34-year-old ranger Margaret Anderson.
