Firefighter Mauled To Death By Recently Adopted Dog

A tragic story from Illinois.

According to a report from the Chicago Sun-Times, police said a 44-year-old female firefighter was mauled to death this week by a dog she and her husband had recently adopted. The dog that attacked the woman  was a mastiff that weighed approximately 130-140 pounds, according to the Sun-Times report.
