Man Reportedly Breaks Into Ex-Girlfriends Home, Shoots Engine of Parked Car, Police Say

A bizarre story from Indiana, courtesy of Granite Broadcasting sister station Indiana's NewsCenter in Fort Wayne, Ind.

According to Indiana's NewsCenter:

38-year-old Troy Frieden of North Manchester, Ind., faces criminal charges after Kosciusko County police say he broke into the home of his ex-girlfriend armed with two handguns.

Police say Frieden gained access to the house on Monday, but his ex-girlfriend wasn't home. According to investigators, he shot the engine compartment of the victim's vehicle parked in the garage, and then went through the home searching for the woman.
