Couple Facing Potential Jail Time for Rescuing Injured Deer

A heartwarming act could lead to potential jail time for an Indiana couple.

According to a report from the Indianapolis Star, an Indiana couple that nursed an injured baby deer back to health have been charged with illegal possession of a white-tailed deer. The charge has a maximum penalty of 60 days in jail, according to the Indianapolis Star report.
