Northland Cities And Counties To Recieve Funding

Ten communities in Northeast Minnesota will receive more than $4.5 million to build strong neighborhoods and communities.

The funding will by provided by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Northland recipients include the cities of Blackduck, Effie, International Falls, and Two Harbors, along with Carlton and Lake Counties.

Among the grants:

Blackduck: $502,000
Effie: $445,050
International Falls: $395,600
Two Harbors: $50,000

Carlton County: $741,750
Lake County: $651,576
