Hibbing Man Charged In Sexual Assault

A Hibbing man has been charged with six felonies in connection with a home invasion and sexual assault last week.

He made an appearance in St. Louis county court in Hibbing this afternoon.

20-year old Brian Bridges is charged with attempted murder, criminal sexual conduct, burglary and assault... stemming from a home invasion in Hibbing last Tuesday morning.

According to the complaint, Bridges allegedly raped, choked and threatened to kill the female victim.

He'll make his next court appearance on Friday.

He's being held on one million dollars bail.
