Man Sentenced For Making Threats In Boundary Waters

One of the six men charged with making terroristic threats in the Boundary Waters last August appeared in court Monday.

19-year-old Jay Andrew Olson and the five other men harassed and terrorized campers on Basswood Lake... shouting obscenities and shooting firearms and fireworks.

Olson was sentenced to 36 months in prison.

Two of the victims also appeared in court Monday to provide statements.

Olson will be serving his time in a prison at St. Cloud or Lino Lakes.
