Proctor Man Arrested For DWI After Crashing Motorized La-Z-Boy

A 62 year-old Proctor man who crashed a motorized La-Z-Boy chair into a car has pleaded guilty to DWI.

Police say Dennis LeRoy Anderson of Proctor drove the custom built chair into a parked vehicle at a bar in August of 2008.

Authorities say he was three times over the legal limit during the time of the crash.

On Monday, Anderson pleaded guilty to third degree DWI charges, a second charge of a third degree DWI, and a charge of driving after revocation were dismissed.

There were no injuries reported during the incident.
