Lake Country Power members in the Side Lake area will be without power for parts of the day Monday, Nov. 2.

The cooperative will be upgrading lines in the area to improve reliability and will be cutting power north of Hibbing to install new lines and equipment.

One outage will begin at 9 a.m., and will affect members north and northeast of Side Lake and areas near Perch Lake and Trestle Lake.

Power for the 161 members affected by the outage is expected to be restored by noon.

A second outage will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will last until 3:00 p.m. for members west and south of Side Lake, Sturgeon Lake, Little Sturgeon Lake and Beatrice Lake.

Lake Country Power appreciates members’ understanding and patience as the cooperative works to upgrade lines, and improve reliability in the area.
