St. Louis County Public Health and Human Services to hold HIN1 Influenza Vaccination Clinics

The St. Louis County Public Health and Human Services Department will hold H1N1 Influenza vaccination clinics at the following sites:

Duluth: Saturday, November 28
First United Methodist Church
(Copper Top)
230 E. Skyline Parkway, Duluth
10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Duluth: Monday, November 30
Hermantown Public Safety Building
5111 Maple Grove Rd., Hermantown
2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

We will vaccinate the following groups:

►Children and young adults 6 months through 24 years

►Adults 25 through 64 years with any of the following: asthma, diabetes (or any type of metabolic disease), or diseases of the lungs, heart (excluding high blood pressure,) kidneys, liver, nerves or blood

►Pregnant women

►All Health Care Workers, EMS and First Responders

►Primary caregivers of infants less than 6 months old

There is no cost for this vaccination.

Flu Mist will be given to eligible, healthy people 2 through 49 years old with no underlying health conditions.

There will be a small amount of injectable vaccine available for those who do not qualify for Flu Mist.

Clinics will remain open during the above listed times or until all vaccine has been given.

Individuals who have already experienced influenza-like illness should still be vaccinated unless H1N1 Influenza was laboratory confirmed.
