Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Duluth Farmers Market opened for the first time this summer on Tuesday morning.

Residents can purchase fresh produce and flowers, ceramic pots, painted canvases, a delicious lunch, or just enjoy a beautiful summer day while listening to live music by Paul Newberg.

"I love the variety of people out here, and it's just fun because we're out here in the sun in the middle of the day and get a chance to talk with people, and things that they can do at home, and have the chance to get some fresh vegetables while they're here," said Storm Watch Protection Team Member, Cristina Villella.

The Downtown Farmers' Market will be held in the Lake Superior Plaza every Tuesday from 11AM until 1PM through September 24.

Head on down to the Plaza next Tuesday to support local products and purchase some delicious goodies.
