Rochester, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A planned $5 billion expansion of the Mayo Clinic in Rochester aims to make it a world destination for health care.
The Mayo Clinic says the private investment is a culmination of a three year study.
However, the project requires $585 million in state money.
The development initiative promises to create 35-45,000 new jobs over the next 20 years and more than $3 billion in new tax revenue to the state.
