Angie Miller Appointed to Late Husband's Seat on St. Louis County Board

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The St. Louis County Board has approved Angie Miller to fill the vacant commissioner seat left by her late husband, Steve O'Neil.

Miller was sworn in today during the County Board meeting.
Miller will be filling an interim role until a permanent replacement can be elected.

A primary election will be held on November 5th with a general election on January 14th.

St. Louis County Commissioner and champion of the poor Steve O'Neil lost his battle with cancer in July.

Five candidates have filed to run for the position.
