Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A new microbrewery is opening its doors in Duluth.

Tonight Bent Paddle Brewing Company along with Fuse Duluth opened its doors for lively conversation of Duluth's history and to taste the company's new brews.

Bent Paddle is a 30 barrel production craft brewery and taproom.

They hope to distribute the beers to bars, liquor stores and restaurants throughout Minnesota.

They say they hope to spread the Duluth experience.

"We set up the brewery to be easy to expand so we can expand out of Duluth to other areas, we basically want to export the Duluth experience," said Bryan Tonnis, Co-Founder and Director of Brewery Operations.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on May 15th with doors opening to the public on May 16th.

The company is located at 1912 West Michigan Street in Duluth.
