Bentleyville lights reached a little closer to the sky today.
28 staff members and numerous volunteers rose bright and early to help raise the 128 inch LED tree.
The process went smoothly and Wednesday night will be the true test when lighting trials are conducted.
Daryl Blazier has been volunteering since Bentleyville moved to Bayfront Park 4 years ago.
He says the spirit of the Tour of Lights is what keeps him coming back.
"It's just a way to give back to your community and pull people together. And the accomplishment when they go on...it's unbelievable."
Blazier says planning for the tour of lights is a year long process.
The Bentleyville tunnels will be complete by the end of the week.
