Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- A businessman from the Brainerd Lakes area, who has thrown his hat in the ring for Minnesota's 8th congressional district seat, made a campaign stop in the Northland today.

41-year-old Stewart Mills is running against Congressman Rick Nolan in the 20-14 election.

Mills has been busy meeting with voters and leaders across the state.

He says he can no longer sit back and complain about the problems in Washington D.C., without rolling up his sleeves and offering to get out there and fix the problems.

"In washington D.C. we have to create jobs, repeal and replace Obamacare with something that actual works, we have to restore respect for our constitution and we have to establish a fiscal sanity."

Mills is currently the Vice President of Mills Fleet Farm in Brainerd.
