Cook County, MN (Northland's Newscenter) - 23-year-old Ty D. Sitter was reported missing just before midnight on Thursday.

He was last seen fishing in a canoe by himself on Swan Lake in the BWCAW around 7 P-M on June 9th.

Sitter was reported missing by his dad and brother after they found his canoe and he was not in it.

Sitter is five foot, seven inches tall with blue hair and brown eyes and was wearing camouflage pants and sweat shirt, along with white sunglasses, a dark hat and boots.

Search dogs and personnel have been looking for Sitter since 3AM Friday and say search efforts are now being concentrated on the lake itself.

Anyone with information about Sitter is asked to contact the Cook County Sheriff's Department.
