Names Released in Fatal Carlton County Crash

Carlton County, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- A 33 year old Cloquet man is dead after driving the wrong way on Highway 210 and crashing head-on into another driver late Tuesday night.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 33 year old Michael Bowman, from Cloquet died when the vehicle he was driving crashed into 23 year old, Brittany Clemens' car on highway 210 near the Schmitz road in Carlton County.
The state Patrol received a call from a bar in Cloquet warning authorities that Bowman, who had allegedly been drinking at the establishment, got in his car and left despite protests from bar employees.

The accident occurred about a mile west of Black Bear Casino.

Bowman was killed in the accident.

Clemens suffered several some broken bones, but medical officials say none of the injuries was life threatening.
