Duluth, MN (Northland’s NewsCenter) --- A Duluth church transformed into the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Diagon Alley, Hogsmead and the Black Forest.
Hundreds of young costumed wizards and witches were assigned to Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin by the sorting hat at a Harry Potter themed Halloween costume party.
Four floors of the Pilgrim Church were transformed into a world of magic.
Wizards had the chance to post mail from the Owlery, sip pumpkin juice from the Three Broomstick Tavern or buy goodies from Honeydukes Sweet Shoppe.
Many competed in a tri wizard championship and got magic, transfiguration and broom flying lessons.
“It's just really cool. I like all the spells. They story is very interesting," Ben and JJ, who dressed as Harry Potter and Ron Weasley said.
Of all the activities, Ben and JJ said they liked the carriage ride through the haunted black woods forest best.
