Ely, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Monday's temporary ruling to allow Dr. Lynn Rogers to continue collaring research bears in Northeastern Minnesota is a win for the Ely Bear Center.

However, this continues to be an uphill battle for Dr. Rogers and his staff with the dispute between him and the Minnesota DNR expected to go to an administrative law judge.

Dr. Rogers spoke over the phone with Michelle Lee during the 5pm news on KBJR 6 and Range 11 about the temporary ruling and what the future holds for bear research in Minnesota.
