Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Duluth leaders want Duluthians to recognize and enjoy all the attractions the city has to offer.
Duluth Appreciation Week runs from May 11 through May 17th.
During that time participating businesses will offer special rates on everything from hotel rooms and restaurants to clothing and attractions.
The temporarily reduced prices are supported in part by the Duluth Attractions Council and the Canal Park Business Association.
Mayor Don Ness says the discounts are a great way to get locals to enjoy the many great things in their community.
"This week is a tremendous opportunity for Duluthians to get out and experience it first–hand; and then to share those stories with the visitors that will be coming throughout the rest of the year," Duluth Mayor Don Ness said.
Discounts include 25 percent off entry to the Adventure Zone, a free appetizer at Riverside Bar and Grill, and 10 percent off at the Canal Park Lodge.
