Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - All the single ladies and gents packed the Underground Theater in Duluth Tuesday evening for a modern take on a classic dating game.

Crowds packed the Underground theater for the 'Dating Game', which paired a local bachelor and bachelorette up with four singles, all vying to win a date.

KBJR 6 & Range 11's own Kevin Jacobsen was a lucky contestant hoping to win his way to love.

The Underground organizers say these kinds of classic themed events are always crowd pleasers and unique in the Northland.

"We wanted to bring the classics back, last month we played the "Newlywed Game," we had a great time and this month we're giving a shot at the "Dating Game," there aren't a whole lot of places in Duluth to have mixers and to get to know people who are single," said Crystal Pelkey, the Underground Program Director.

All the money raised goes towards future events at the Underground Theater.

August's classic themed event will be "The Gong Show."
