Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The saying goes April showers bring May flowers, but with all the snow this April, we'll be lucky to see any flowers in May.
As of Wednesday Duluth was at 125 inches of snow for the season.
Last year our snow totals reached 129 inches.
If Duluth gets just three more inches this winter, 2014 will become the fourth snowiest winter in Duluth history.
Adryenne, who is visiting American friends in Duluth from the Netherlands, says she has been very surprised by all the snow.
"They would show us around and see the beautiful lake, but all we saw was snow and a lot of winds, and it's very cold. In Holland now the sun is shining so it's quite a difference, but we enjoy it," said Adryenne.
The snowiest record in Duluth history was the winter of 1995-1996, where snow totals reached 135.4 inches.
