Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A group of kids were going nowhere fast Friday night after an elevator they were on got stuck for more than half an hour.
It happened just before 7 p.m. on the city-side of the DECC, host to the Robotics Competition this weekend.
One person tweeted a picture and wrote "if you can build a bot under 120 pounds, you should understand weight limits."
A DECC worker said the group of 25 kids crammed into the elevator putting it over the weight limit.
"We just kept them calm and sent them little messages through the window," said Chelly Townsend.
Townsend said no one was hurt and the children were apologetic and embarrassed.
