Ely, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Ely city officials are seeking public input in deciding what to do with two of their old buildings.
City leaders say the town's city hall and community center are underutilized and are costing taxpayers a lot of money to heat.
They are also not handicap accessible.
A series of public meetings will be held to determine how to more efficiently use the buildings.
"That really is my top priority is making buildings accessible," said Ely Mayor Ross Petersen, "My second priority is to come up with something that's a good fit for Ely."
The next public meeting will be held on March 25th at 6 p.m. at the Ely Senior Center.
