EVELETH, MN (Northland's NewsCenter)-- An Iron Range man faces four felony charges after vandalizing and stealing items inside two vehicles in a church parking lot.
Forty-eight-year-old, John Carl Pape faces felony counts including, felon in possession of a fire arm and theft of firearms.
He also faces financial transaction card fraud and 5th degree possession of methamphetamine.
The Eveleth Police department responded to a call of vehicle damage and theft in the United Christ Lutheran Church around 9:45 Sunday morning.
With a search warrant, officers report that they found several stolen items including guns, purses, cell phones and various forms of money in Pape's home.
Authorities say Pape is also a suspect in other thefts and burglaries throughout the area.
