Friends, fans support Northland musher's Iditarod attempt

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Supporters of Sled Dog racing champion Nathan Schroeder gathered in Duluth Monday to eat spaghetti all for a good cause.

The team at Green Mill, Canal Park, hosted a spaghetti dinner.

All proceeds will go to the fundraising effort for Nathan Schroeder and his bid to win the Iditarod 2014 race.

Schroeder is a past winner of the John Bear Grease Sled Dog Marathon.

He works as a journeyman Millwright in Virginia, but still finds time to train for the Iditarod.

The Cost of the spaghetti dinner, which will be held again Tuesday at Green Mill, is $10 with all proceeds going to Schroder for the Iditarod.

The race starts March 2nd.
