Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Volunteers and community members raised money in Duluth Saturday to send area veterans on the trip of a lifetime.
A fundraiser for Honor Flight Northland was held at the all American Club. Money raised will pay for veterans to fly to Washington D.C. to see the World War II Veterans Memorial.
"Without our veterans, this country, where would it be? And to give the opportunity to pay them back really means a lot," said organizer, Roland Schaefbauer.
The All American Club and the Blue Water Big Band partnered to put on the event.
