Cloquet, MN (NNCNOW.com) - More than 50 percent of Americans are driving to their destination to enjoy the holiday weekend and some here in the Northland have their favorite spot to fill up along the way.

We found many motorists taking advantage of the low Gas price at this Murphy USA in Cloquet where gas is only 3.99 a gallon.

"Every time I come up, this is where I always stop just because the gas prices are always the cheapest," said Duane Telle, who is traveling to a cabin in Ely for the weekend.

The average gas price in the Northland is about 4.19.

In Two Harbors you can expect to pay $4.17 at the pump and in Moose Lake, gas is $4.12 a gallon.

Despite the high gas prices, 93 percent of Americans say it won't interfere with their travel plans.
