Investigation into Lac Courte Oreilles Stabbing Continues

HAYWARD, WI (Northland's Newscenter)---Authorities continue to investigate the altercation on the Lac Courte Oreilles Indian Reservation that left several people stabbed and one man dead.

According to the Sawyer County Sheriff's Department a fight broke out at a house party in the early morning hours of April 22.

Three 911 calls came in from various locations reporting that people there had been injured.

A police investigation has confirmed that all four stabbings were related.

Community members had expressed that they believed the stabbings were gang related.

Family members of two of the victims told the Northland's NewsCenter that they were not involved in any gang activity...rather they were victim's of other's senseless brutality.

Two potential suspects are in custody.
