Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com)-- Actor Mackenzie Astin re-united with locals who played small but important roles in the film Iron Will.

It was Astin's first time in the Northland since the filming of the movie in 1993. He told us his experience in Duluth was "a blessing" and he says it's been amazing to catch up with people like local photographer Bruce Ojard.

"He told me that the folks I'd meet in Minnesota would be about the best people I'd meet in my life," said Astin. "It's true then and it's still true now. There are good folks here. So the experience I had twenty years ago was amazing."

The screening of Iron Will was sold out and overflowed into standing room only. When Austin arrived, he was greeted by dozens of fans at the Depot along with Mayor Don Ness who proclaimed today "Iron Will day" in Duluth.
