(NNCNOW.com) --- Despite a possible, partial government shutdown, online health exchanges are expected to roll out nationwide Tuesday as part of the Affordable Care Act.
Consumers will be able to start using Minnesota's health insurance exchange sometime in the afternoon.
It's later than expected, because officials want to make sure the system connects with the federal system.
MNsure officials are asking Native Americans, who qualify for special benefits under the Affordable Care Act, to wait a week before signing up, so they can get part of the system up and running.
Meanwhile, a list of approved assisters and brokers who can help people sign up won't be available until Wednesday.
