DULUTH, MN (Northland's NewsCenter)---Fifty-nine students became Alumni of Marshall School following a graduation commencement ceremony in Duluth Sunday afternoon.

Marshall's class of 2012 performed more than 4,600 hours of community service.

Seventy percent of the students were accepted into their first choice college.

Many say they are in a strong position to succeed in college and beyond.

"Marshall just prepares you to be part of a community and just impact it in so many ways, in so many great ways," Daniel Manilan, a graduate said. "It just feels really good to know that your part of this alumni."

Deacon Chico Anderson delivered his final graduation blessing at the commencement ceremony.
