Police Arrest Two Chicago Men in Connection to Vehicle Prowls

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- There was a significant police response to the area near the Radisson Hotel in Downtown Duluth on Saturday.

Around 9:45 a.m. Duluth Police were called to the Radisson Hotel to investigate two vehicle prowls.

Two men from Chicago fled a hotel room when police found marijuana and an empty holster in a duffle bag inside the room.

After a foot chase, police arrested a 20-year-old man.

He is in custody in St. Louis County Jail pending formal charges of 4th Degree Assault.

Police arrested a second suspect around noon about a block from the Radisson after they found him in a nearby alley.

Authorities issued the 21-year-old man a citation for Fleeing a Police Officer on Foot.

About ten squad cars also surrounded the Duluth Public Library.

Officials believed another person that may have been connected with the two men had walked into the Duluth Public Library, however, he was not located.

The case is still under investigation.
