Superior, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) - 18 year old Sage Ross, who surrendered to the Douglas County Sheriff's office just after midnight last night, faces one count of felony armed robbery as a party to a crime.

The charge stems from a shooting that took place at 1627 1/2 Tower Avenue on September First.

Ross is accused of setting up the victim to be robbed at gunpoint via text messages.

If convicted Ross faces a potential fine of up to $100,000 and forty years in prison.

In reference to Ross turning herself in, Judicial Court Commissioner Rebecca Lovejoy said, "it does speak to her credibility to some extent that she turned herself in now. However, this crime was back from September 1st—a couple of months ago."

Due to the seriousness of the crime bail was set for Ross at $2500 dollars.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for November ninth at nine thirty AM.
