Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) -- It's a sign of the season.

The Salvation Army in Duluth is in the process of wrapping collection boxes for this year's Toyland Express. Junior Kiwanis Key Club members from St. Scholastica and Denfeld High School helped put boxes the boxes together.

All of the gifts donated to Toyland Express are given out to needy families in the greater Duluth area just in time for Christmas.

"The boxes all go out to different businesses, offices, commercial businesses, restaurants all around town collecting toys. Sometimes for families this will be the only toy the children will get," said Missy LePage.

Salvation Army spokespeople say the need for toys is expected to be even greater this year.

The Northland's NewsCenter is one of the locations people can drop–off presents beginning November 14th.
