Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Multiple suspects are at large following a robbery and stolen car incident in Duluth's Central Hillside.

Police were called to the #10 Block of East 6th Street around 9:30 Monday night. An initial investigation revealed a 34 year old man was driving up to his friend's house when six men came out of the residence and opened the passenger door to the car.

One of the suspects allegedly pointed a handgun at the victim while five other suspects pulled the victim out of the car and started punching him.

The suspect with the gun then allegedly started hitting him with the butt of the handgun, took his wallet and drove off in the victim’s car while the other suspects ran off.

The suspect with the gun is described as a 17 year old black man, and is about 6 feet tall.

Authorities say the victim and the suspect with the handgun were known to each other.

The victim was transported to Essentia St. Mary’s hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Duluth Police recovered the stolen car the next day along the 200 Block of East 4th Street, however did not locate any of the suspects.

Authorities ask anyone with information about this incident to call 911.
