Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - From a social media milestone to a Super Bowl commercial that people just can't get enough of Kevin Jacobsen has what's trending this week.

Where would we be without Facebook?

In just a decade, Facebook has grown to the dominant social networking platform and one of the best ways to keep in touch.

The social media giant was launched in Mark Zuckerberg's Harvard dorm room and is now a worldwide platform with more than 1.2 billion users.

Most people log on to see photos and videos from friends while others scroll through for humor.

Chief complaints of the social networking website include oversharing and people posting your personal information or photos without permission.

Facebook is marking its 10th anniversary with a feature that lets you create personalized videos highlighting your top content over the years.

Facebook launches 'Pages'

This week the makers of Facebook rolled out a new app in conjunction with the birthday celebration called Paper.

The new app allows you to explore and share stories from friends and the world in immersive designs and full screen, distraction-free layouts. Paper includes your Facebook News Feed and sections about your favorite topics.
You can also craft your own stories and see exactly what your posts will look like before you share them.

Right now it's only available for the iPhone with iOS 7.

Can't get enough of the puppy

The Budweiser commercial known simply as "Puppy Love" has more than 42 million views on YouTube since the week.

The 60 second ad, featuring a bond between the Clydesdales and a puppy won the prestigious Ad Meter, a coveted USA Today award.
