Maple, WI (NNCNOW.com)-- In 50 years, students at Northwestern High School in Maple, Wisconsin have built 50 different houses.

The program is celebrating their half- century milestone this week with the completion of a 1,300 square foot home.

The students spent of 90 minutes a day building the house from the ground up, learning all the components of home construction along the way.

"This is a great resume builder for kids, " said tech teacher Joe Letko. "We get a lot of students that head off to tech school and enter into the trade so this is a great resume builder that students don't get at other schools."

The house will be showcased at the Maple graduation ceremony and then will be sold.
