FAYAL TOWNSHIP, MN (Northland's NewsCenter)---Authorities are investigating a fight that sent one man to the hospital after he was allegedly stabbed in the shoulder with a knife on Saturday.
A 46-year-old Eveleth man underwent surgery late Saturday night at the Virginia Regional Medical Center in Virginia after sustaining a knife wound to his shoulder, according to authorities from the Virginia St. Louis County Sherriff's Office.
The man reportedly got into a fight with another person on an uninvolved person's property on Pleasant Lake in Fayal Township near Eveleth around 7:30 p.m.
The Minnesota State Patrol and The Eveleth Police Department assisted in the incident.
