Monica Lynn (Vieu) Kucker, 53, of Cloquet, formerly of Duluth, passed away Oct. 20, 2011, in Essentia Health hospice unit.

She was born in Duluth July 3, 1958, the daughter of Janice and James Vieu.

She nannied many years for the Brenikmyer family and then later she was employed by Loyear Cleaning and Essentia Health.

Monica will aways be remembered for being a very dedicated hard worker. Her joys in life were gardening, camping, fishing, spending time with family and friends and teaching her granddaughter how to swim.

She was preceded in death by her mother Janice; father, Jim; grandparents LaVaun and Arnold; and uncle James Sanders.

Monica is survived by her longtime partner, Warren Gustafson; sons Jacob (Jessica) and Kyle (Dawn); aunt Kathy (Len) Round of Detroit Lakes; brother James; sisters Susan, Genevieve, and Julie; grand-daughter Joelle LaVaun Kucker; former husband Jim Kucker; and her best friends, Bucky and Eva.

Visitation: 1 until the 2 p.m. memorial service Saturday, Oct. 29, in the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Avenue. (218) 624-5200
