Gary W. Huotari, 65, of Duluth, passed away Oct. 26, 2011, in St. Luke's hospital.
Gary was in Vietnam from 1967-1968. He was wounded in February of 1968 and received the Purple Heart.
He worked several years for Ken and Todd at Mobile Housing.
Gary loved wildlife and enjoyed feeding the deer and the birds. He also liked gardening and fishing. He loved his pets.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Pearl; and brother Gilbert "Buddy".
Gary is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dolores; siblings Delores (Toivo) Minkkinen, Francis John (Sandy) Huotari, and Janet (Bob) Lund; many nieces and nephews; cats Hoppy and Musta; sisters-in-law Mary, Dianna and Jackie; and brothers-in-law Jim, Don and Donnie.
There will be no service held at this time. A memorial will be held next spring.
