Sara joined the Northland's NewsCenter team in September of 2009 and works in our Range 11 office in Hibbing as the Iron Range Reporter.

Sara is a native of Ottawa, Illinois and graduated from Purdue University in May of 2009 with a degree in Mass Communication.

During college, Sara interned at CBS affiliate WLFI News Channel 18 in West Lafayette, Indiana; hosted "Boilermaker Brainbuster" trivia on the jumbo-tron during halftime of Purdue men's and women's basketball games; was a member of the Purdue "Golduster" Dance Team; and was also a varsity coach for a high school dance team.

Sara loves putting together news stories, dancing and just about every sport.
