Hermantown, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- A convincing home win against Bemidji coupled with a Duluth East loss on Saturday left the Hermantown Hawks as the state's only unbeaten high school hockey team.
The #1-ranked Hawks beat the Lumberjacks 10-4 at home, getting two goals apiece from Chris Benson, Jared Thomas, and Andrew Mattson.
Seven different players for Hermantown scored a goal in the winning effort, and Matt Mensinger made 31 saves in goal.
