Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The #10-ranked Denver men's hockey team scored three goals in the third period on Saturday night to beat the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) men's hockey team 4-3 at AMSOIL Arena. The Bulldogs held leads of 2-0 and 3-1 in the contest, but saw that lead disappear in the third as the Pioneers earned the weekend series sweep. Caleb Herbert, Austin Farley, and Tony Camaranesi scored goals for UMD in the loss, and goaltender Matt McNeely finished with 20 saves.
