Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) head football coach Bob Nielson called it "certainly disappointing" to see his team fall 51-49 this past weekend to St. Cloud State, especially considering the Bulldogs held a couple late leads.
The loss, however, does come at the best possible time for UMD in that they can still accomplish their ultimate goals of winning the conference and national championships.
Nielson made his comments while appearing on the weekly show, "Bulldog Country," which airs Friday and Saturday nights on the My 9 Sports Network.
