#11 Mavericks Earn Road Sweep of Bulldogs

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The #11-ranked Minnesota State-Mankato men's hockey team scored three first period goals on Saturday night en route to a 5-1 road win over the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD), completing a weekend sweep for the Mavericks.

Tony Camaranesi scored the lone goal for the Bulldogs in the loss, and Aaron Crandall and Alex Fons combined to make 23 saves in goal.

Losers of its last four games, UMD is now (10-15-3) overall this season and (8-11-3) within the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA).
