Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- St. Cloud State was better in every area on Saturday night, beating the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) men's hockey team 5-1 at AMSOIL Arena to earn a weekend series split with the Bulldogs. Nic Dowd scored two goals for the #12-ranked Huskies, including the eventual game-winner midway through the first period. The Bulldogs' lone goal came from senior forward Mike Seidel, marking his team-leading eighth tally of the year. Aaron Crandall was charged with the loss in the UMD goal, making 17 saves in the game while allowing all five goals.
