The National Champion UMD Football team landed 21 new players for their program, as the 2009 recruiting class was announced Wednesday.
More players will be invited as walk-on's, but UMD could not announce those players yet.
The 2009 Class features a bevy of local talent.
Two from Superior have committed, Chris Blake and Joe Reichert.
Blake projects as a Defensive Back and Reichert a Wide Receiver.
Mike Downing of East, Matt Wicklund of Two Harbors and Nate Zuk of Moose Lake-Willow River have signed as well.
